BEIJING, Jan.5-- "The Specification for Gas Testing of Shale Gas Well under Normal Temperature and Pressure" was officially released and implemented on January 5. The specification was drafted by the Oil and Gas Geological Survey, Sinopec Jianghan Petroleum Engineering Co., LTD., and the Downhole Testing Company of Sinopec Jianghan Petroleum Engineering Optimization Company.
The specification was developed on the basis of fracturing testing practice of shale gas well under usual temperature and atmospheric pressure outside the basin, considering the principle of "inheritance and innovation", making reference to the standards of oil industry and enterprise, on account of the technical requirement of gas test preparation of shale gas well under usual temperature and atmospheric pressure, surface flow chart and gas test technology. It offers quantifiable selection method to the basic gas testing requirement. It provides scientific basis for shale gas well gas testing operation and is suitable for shale gas well gas test operation at usual temperature and atmospheric pressure.
