The president of China Coal Energy Co Gao Jianjun, is being investigated for suspected corruption, the party's anti-graft arm said on Thursday.
Gao is suspected of "serious discipline breaches", the Communist Party of China Central Commission for Discipline Inspection said in a brief statement.
China Coal Energy Co is China's second largest coal producer by output.
