China'sENN Energy Holdings, an independent natural gas distributor, recorded a 30 percent increase in profit last year on revenue up 41.5 percent thanks to bumper gas sales.
Total natural gas sales jumped nearly 37 percent last year to 19.62 billion cubic metres （bcm）.
Gas sales to industrial and commercial sectors grew by 37.3 percent to 10.9 bcm.
Gas sales to residential users were up 18.3 percent at 2.15 bcm.
At the end of 2017 the company operated a total of 325 compressed natural gas （CNG） refuelling stations and 281 liquefied natural gas （LNG） refuelling stations.
The company is expected to start operating its first LNG import terminal in east China by mid-2018.
