BEIJING, July 20(Chinamining) -- Che Changbo, Secretary General of China Mining Association,  visited the Embassy of the Democratic Republic of Congo in Beijing and held friendly talks with Numbi Kayembe Valentine, the Minister Plenipotentiary of the embassy.
 
During the meeting, Secretary General Che Changbo first thanked Numbi Kayembe Valentine for his warm reception, then introduced the basic situation of China Mining Association, and put forward four ideas. First, he invited the Ambassador of the Democratic Republic of Congo to attend the opening ceremony of this year's China Mining Conference and Exhibition. Second, he invited Congo enterprises to participate in activities that relates to offline and online exhibitions. Third, he welcomed the Democratic Republic of Congo to participate in the "country promotion" session. Fourth, China hopes to establish a closer communication and exchange mechanism with Congo to strengthen bilateral cooperation in mining industry.
 
Minister Valantine expressed his gratitude to Secretary General Che Changbo and his delegation for their visit and invitation, and gladly accepted the invitation of China Mining Association, he said that he would actively participate in the relevant activities of China Mining 2021, and expressed his high praise for the good image shown by the newly invested Chinese enterprises. He said that Congo attaches great importance to the development of people's livelihood, the Chinese enterprises that invested in Congo should not only focus on their own interests but also provide strong support for Congo's social and economic development. At the same time, with the rapid development over the years, China has become the best role model for many African countries. They hope to learn good experience and technology from China.  Congo attaches great importance to the cooperation with China in the field of mining, and will actively attend the exhibition, promote the democratic republic of Congo's mining investment opportunities, strengthen bilateral cooperation in the field of mining.
 
The meeting was also attended by the Secretary of the embassy of the Democratic Republic of Congo and relevant personnel of the International Cooperation Department of China Mining Association.
